Ashoka Tree Resort at Tanggayuda, Ubud

One of the worst place to live in. It's a one star hotel not a four star. Hot water does not come all the time. You will get only 2 towel a day(you are on an island, you will need more) Pools are not clean. Daily housekeeping does not clean bathtub. You ask for anything and they start crying. Creamer took 3 calls. There are better hotel in this price range.

Stayed for 2 nights with my family in a two room villa with a private pool. Rooms are nicely decorated with big rooms and toilets and a common dining space along with a seating area with TV and a terrace. If any one desires they can cook also. Only the pool depth is 150 cm which is high for the kids they were not able to enjoy in the private pool. But in the common pool they enjoyed. The ambience is nice. But there was no Buffet breakfast. Options are limited for breakfast and quantity is less. So apart from breakfast and pool issue all is good.

We booked a villa with swimming pool and boy it didn't disappoint. Room huge 4 poster bed .bathroom the size of my house back home. Great patio bit upstairs. Swimming pool amazing . Loved every bit of our 4 days . Staff helpful and friendly. Rita was our waitress with a trainee helping her on our last two days. Always greeted with a huge smile . There's not much to do but chill. If you need a taxi just a wee walk to the right of the hotel and you will find Herman's tour guide/taxi . We hired him for two days and it was great to see the less touristy Bali. Highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be back next February. Thanks also to the gardener who climbed the wall into our room when we managed to lock ourselves out. This hotel is worst in whole UBUD .this hotel provides poor food and worst security . staff also behaved bad on complaining . they don't know what is hospitality and how to provide service to the customer .no one should stay in hotel like this..

Beautiful setting with raised pool and restaurant area overlooking the jungle. In all it has two lovely pools plus villas with private pools available. We stayed in 2 bed villa, one room with bathroom upstairs, second bedroom, with bathroom on ground level with open air kitchen. And whilst there is not enough cooking implements to cook/eat with it's still a nice space and the restaurant offers both Balinese and western choices. Breakfast is included plus a one way shuttle to busy ubud central once a day. Staff super friendly and helpful. Very peaceful and relaxed. Matt and Tracey

comfortable accomodation in Ubud with good place, nice views, nice pool and very friendly service, I really enjoyed staying at Ashoka Tree Resort, I have plans to return again soon with my family. recommended👍

Bad mentainance Dirty pools Uneven walking surface Stray rats running around the property Ants in rooms and on beds And way too isolated We booked twin room pool villa but were thoroughly disappointed. Even the room pool was tiny and in a corner.

The property is not maintained. No one to listen to your complaints. Smelly rooms. Dirty pool. No breakfast. Rude staff. Ni intercom. All bathroom fittings broken. No water in taps.
