Aspect is close to Caloundra Main Street bonus Sunday market was great apartment was a good size , not having an ocean view was only negative, nice bakery / coffee shop downstairs- beach is only a short walk away along the broad walk - pool area looked although we didn’t use it , would stay again.

This was our return trip & we booked Aspect specifically because we liked it the first time. A nicely apointed spacious apartment, a comfortable king bed, easy to operate TV, well-equipped kitchen and laundry. We did not have much contact with staff as we arrived after hours but they are always nice. We love the location, one block from the main street with plenty of restaurants, shops and well-stocked IGA in one direction & one block from the beach, coastal walk and another cluster of waterfront restaurants in the opposite direction. There is a wonderful French bakery on the ground floor and an Italian restaurant, favored by locals, across the street. We did not have time to use any of the amenities but there is pool, whirlpool, tennis court, gym and sauna.

Our apartment overlooked the tennis court and, behind it, back of houses with backyards and parked cars - which was not very scenic and, when blinds/curtains were open, did not offer much privacy. It might be good to splurge on an ocenview room. But the balcony was spacious and sliding doors provided a good sound insulation. The bathroom was neat and clean but needed attention to minor details (loose tower rack, shower door hitting toilet if wide open, a few clothes hooks on the wall would help).

We will definitely be coming back. The apartment was so beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. The hotel was in the best location with the beach and shops right there!

The unfortunate timing of the jackhammer, the staff were excellent and apologetic these things can’t be helped and we understood!
