Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott Harrisonburg

The Fairfield Inn was very clean and everyone was very friendly.

Clean, easy to reach location.

Check-in person not very helpful. When I arrived, he said he couldn’t find the reservation and didn’t even look at the reservation number. He asked my name three times, barely glanced at my ID, and acted very indifferent about helping. Told me it “sometimes takes awhile” for the reservation to show up, “…as much as a half hour.” When I pointed out I had received the confirmation as well as a message from the facility regarding my reservation more than a half hour ago, he then asked my first name and suddenly found it, stating “they put it under your first name so I couldn’t find it.”

Good location, nice staff.

The room was tired. Air conditioning so loud I could barely sleep, and unfortunately I was across the hall from the ice machine, which got a lot of ( noisy) use.

The place was well kept and the staff was friendly.

My boyfriend and I stayed for the weekend. Check in was swift and both of the receptionist were nice and helpful.

Went with my husband and 11-year-old 4th of July weekend. Location: We visited Shenandoah National Park, Luray Caverns and went tubing on Shenandoah River. Centrally located for those activities. Commercial area with shopping Centers and restaurants all around. Room: Not super spacious but beds were comfortable. Average standard room. Breakfast: Great free breakfast as I've found with all Fairfield Inn properties. As usual make-your-own waffles were starting of the show. But plenty other hot and cold options. And variety of drink options. Pool: Did not use. Jacuzzi was broken, but the pool did not seem overcrowded when we passed by 2 times. Overall, good value, particularly as it included great breakfast.
