Tolle Unterkunft mit sehr freundlichem Personal. Sehr schöne, gepflegte Anlage mit tollem Pool und schönem See plus Krokodil. Es gibt eine Familie Brüllaffen auf dem Gelände. Wunderschöner Garten.

Deze accomodatie was fantastisch. Ondanks dat het in de jungle ligt was de kamer erg schoon zonder beesten. Het personeel was ook zeer vriendelijk. De tuin met lagoon en verschillende zwembaden maken het verblijf tot een paradijs. De jungle geluiden van krekels en brulapen maakten het verblijf natuurlijk helemaal magisch.

Staying at the Chanabnal in the hills of Chiapas was a magical experience. Arriving at the inn, the visitor is first greeted by an explosion of colorful tropical plants since the inn sits in what can only be described as a paradise jungle. The main building, which includes the open air restaurant is comfortable and clean. The meals were exceptional. Freshly made chilaquiles for breakfast -- what a great way to start the day. And the natural water swimming pool, situated away from the main building and the guest rooms, is a very tranquil place. The inn is a great jumping off place for visits with the Kichan Bajlum Travel Agency to Yaxchilan, Bonampak, Palenque, and the waterfalls. The staff is friendly and competent. Of course, you could save a few dollars and sleep at the hotel in the town located in front of the bus station, which is fine if you are on a strict budget, but for the experience at the Chanabnal it is worth the extra cost. Although awesome in the photos, the rooms are even more spectacular in person -- and comfortable. From the train station it is just a 200 peso taxi ride. Fly to Cancun or Merida and take the Tren Maya to Palenque for a relaxing adventure at the Chanabnal.

OK, this is not the cheapest place, but you get a high class accommodation. It's literally mid the jungle. You can hear and see howler monkeys. We rested a lot of time sitting at the lake and enjoying the surrounding. Quality of food was great and prices were reasonable. Our room was huge, nicely decorated and spotless. We would definitely come back.

Lovely premises with well thought out layout. Beautiful natural jungle garden with pool out back and nice accommodation and dining zone out front. The room was very comfortable and designed very well. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Nothing to put here, it was simply a wonderful stay.

Beautiful place!

Exceptional setting in a rainforest like garden with monkeys watching you from high trees. The food is off super quality and amazing taste.

Parfait, et notamment le site, dans une oasis verte remplie d'animaux...
