Kilmarnock Arms Hotel

Great location at the seaside, brilliant restaurant, calm bar AND a lively bar (you choose!), interesting sites nearby. Fantastic staff fulfilled several special requests. Breakfast was great. Room was silent. I came to work away for a while, and could do so alongside enjoying the area. A beautiful beach, golf, history, many amenities.

I considered what I could write here, and came up with the following: the lighting in the shower could be increased.

Hotel has that lived in, cozy feel. The staff is terrific, the food quite good, the best sticky toffee pudding in Scotland! We have stayed there twice and will return again next month.

Staff were brilliant, very accommodating and helpful. Rooms were v clean and comfortable as described.

Don’t look at the hotel from the outside! Inside it is clean, breakfast is very good and the restaurant, too. The room was nicely decorated, clean and comfortable.

Staff were fantastic and food is really really good.

One of the best breakfasts I've had at a hotel, Hagis, Blood Pudding, taters. It's not a big breakfast but it's made fresh to order and was delicious.

Honestly, things were very good. People do have to climb stairs to get to upper levels, but that's the case in all historic hotels.
