"A very good pit stop on the way to Cumbria. Lovely all round place"

Breakfast very good choice, eggs Benedict cooked to perfection. The dinner previous evening was very good too.

We were told three days before that an Elvis tribute was taking place and would end about 11.30 p.m. Whilst we are Elvis fans it went on a fraction later and was just below our room.

The property is lovely. From the outside it may look like a row of terraced houses but inside the convention to a hotel is done to a really good standard and the food is great

Compfortable room but a bit on the small side. Nice bathroom but narrow so it was a bit of a squeeze using the wc. Only a Standard double bed where many hotels these days have king size ones. Food was generally of a high standard with the exception of the sausages on the breakfast buffet that were very hard and unpleasent
