The National park was beautiful, the access to the reef was great and just next to the resort. Peaceful! The burgers at Foxy’s were awesome.

My studio room was ok - there was no view at all. But the room itself was adequate and clean. It is good if you are just wanting the cheaper option. It’s an older resort in need of some renovations. A basic resort with minimal amenities. A heated pool would have been nice. Some of the information on the website was different to the reality - eg Foxys closed at 8 - not late- and the prices for the restaurant breakfast needed updating.

The location was amazing, Snorkeling from the beach was a bonus. We swam with two turtles on the first day which was the highlight of the trip, closely followed by a hike to the summit. The beds were comfortable and the view from the Queen Suite (ocean facing) was beautiful. The breakfast bar had a good selection of cooked and continental options. All of the staff were friendly and helpful and genuinely wanted to make our stay enjoyable.

The original rooms we booked were standard queen rooms (all of these face the sheer side of the mountain/rain forest), ~6m distance. The rooms were dark and smelt damp, but we did arrive on a rainy day. We upgraded to a queen suite, which was brighter and airier. The rooms are tired and dated (broken table, stained carpet, heavily water-scaled bathroom, the lock was missing from our balcony door). Bring food from the mainland, the convenience store stocks potato chips, soft drinks and ice creams and not much more.

On arrival we were given room keys to a smelly dark damp room, honestly I dont know how people even sleep in them.the 6 of us requested a upgrade and were able to get 3 overpriced beachfront units. The bar closes at 8pm which really is a joke...we were drinking bubbles and believe it or not the bar ran out of glasses. The next morning we went to breakfast and had to wait for breakfast bowls ...the waitress said " we need to buy more". The resort bathrooms were rather grubby as were the chairs and tables in the pool area and communal areas.( we never seen a cleaner the whole time we were there which was strange) By the way im still waiting for some coffee pods for the nespresso coffee machine that was in our room that the manager said the cleaners would deliver! On reading the reviews all i see is a generic reply promising action and from what we saw there is none.

The location of the property was good

There was 6 people in our group. 3 couples. My partner and I live at Trinity Beach QLD. We booked the resort for our family who were visiting from New Zealand. Well! All that I can say is that the whole resort was an embarrassment. Our rooms were tiny and smelt like mould and strong overpowering disinfectant. The beds were rock hard. I immediately asked for an upgrade to be told that there was 3 cabins vacant which would cost us an extra $500 per couple. I asked the manager if he could throw in a breakfast free of charge and he said no. Breakfast was $35 per head which was not really that good as no bacon available and very mediocre to say the least. Whilst waiting for our upgraded room we decided to sit near the pool bar and have a refreshment but there were not enough glasses for all of us. The males decided to use the toilets in the foyer and informed me that the toilets were filthy and had not been cleaned since 12/2/2026 according to the cleaning schedule displayed. it was the 16/4/26 and I presented this to the manager and he informed be that the toilets had in fact been cleaned and disputed the cleaning schedule basically denying what was presented to him in black and white. Not once did I see a cleaner. At 5.30 our cabins were ready which were an improvement but still disappointing and cracked cups. We asked for some coffee pods as there was a machine provided ( coffee never arrived) surprise! Surprise! Dirty toilets in the cabins that made me dry Wretch. Shower handle broken. Shower flooded the bathroom. Not one stinger station had any vinegar provided. AND THEY COULD NOT THROW IN A FREE BREAKFAST FOR GOOD WILL !!!!

Die Anlage versprüht den Charme der 70‘er und 80‘er Jahre, zweckmäßig und verfliest. Deutlicher Renovierungsstau, von Modernisierung ganz zu schweigen. Spielmöglichkeiten für Kinder fehlen komplett! Dafür sind die Räume sehr hellhörig, was blöd ist, wenn im Apartment oben drüber morgens um sechs die ersten Kinderspiele starten.

Staff were incredibly rude and unhelpful, when you are paying that much money to have a nice time away and are met with staff who don’t smile, don’t greet you, throw their hands in the air and complain about customers in the store.. actually insane behaviour and she should be fired. Ruined the day for me to be honest.

Common areas in this resort were filthy, This was charged at 5 star and supplied 2 star, paid for 2 nights and left after 1 the management wasn’t interested in our concerns. I sent them an email but they said that their policy isn’t to give refunds. My advice save your money and go somewhere else
