Ideal Hotel Hue

The staff couldn't have been nicer, anything I needed they helped me. They were some the most genuine I've meet in my life. They helped me so much! If it was just a motorbike ride to the ATM or just seeing how my day was going. The room was gorgeous, the balcony was amazing, And they offered a tour. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone I know

I arrived to stay at the hotel with G adventures and out of a group of 16, 9 of us moved hotels. The ideal is mouldy and damp and smelt horrendous, It felt like a health Hazard. Do not stay at this hotel, there are lots of others in the area with much better reviews at a similar price!

As soon as we opened the door to the room we could smell dampness and mould which was disgusting and found mould on one of the bedside lamps. Sheets felt damp and shower wasn't the best. Good location near the markets. Breakfast was okay but fairly minimal. Wouldn't stay here again as there is better around for the price.

I stayed here with a tour group so i have my own impressions and the ones from the rest of the group. Most rooms seems to have some mold. My mattress was at least damp. My first room hat so much dirt on the toilet that you easily could wipe it with tissue and it was grey/dark. The pool is on the roof is ugly and there is nothing to sit/lay own. Breakfast is very basic but eatable.

Hotel is horrible. The carpet was actually wet, there was black mold everywhere I looked, and it was simply filthy. Wont be hard to find another place in Hue but how this place is still operating is beyond me. The overnight train was cleaner than this dump.

Good location, just 5 mins walking to night market along Hương River (not sure night market is on everyday or just at weekend). The staffs are friendly and willing to help their guests. Hot water and wifi are good. However, the hotel needs more maintenance and improvements. Walls are damp and mouldy, bath towels are torn, bed sheet is dirty, AC is leaking. At the balcony, light isn't working, two chairs are dusty. Decorative plants seem noone to care for. Staying there 2 nights but I had 1 breakfast only as it was my first time to have such boring breakfast. Don't understand how it gets high rate on some pages. Would not recommend at all!

Stayed here as part of a G Adventures tour. Do yourself a favour and book elsewhere, as several members of our group wisely chose to do. You will consider it an extra few dollars well spent. Our beds, linen and carpet were all damp, mould spores covered the wall and the bathroom was a mould-fest. Staff couldn't care less and the whole place stank. I thankfully had my own sleeping bag and travel pillow otherwise I would have rather slept on the balcony. Didn't bother venturing to the rooftop pool as a result of the other issues. This place should be condemned.

I'm amazed this hotel has a relatively good rating! I stayed there as part of an organised trip (with G Adventures) and it was easily the worst hotel we stayed in over the three week trip. Our room was damp and smelt awful. Bathroom was fairly grim (though the shower was hot so if you closed your eyes and forgot where you were it was ok). I used the sleep sheet I'd brought with me to avoid any horrors lurking on the bed sheets.

We booked the largest of the room types, and it was a large room, with a great balcony, but thats about all. It had 2 double beds but NO WHERE to sit apart from the balcony or the beds, very disappointed, would had preferred one queen bed and a couple of lounge chairs. I found the bath very difficult to get into (I have a bed leg) and hubby had to help me. Although you could ring for hot water to make a coffee, very inconvenient, why not have a kettle etc as in most hotels?? On a more positive note, the breakfast was nice, but no other cafe in the actual hotel. the staff is great and very helpful. The location is excellent, lots of shopping and cafes within a 100 metres walk in any directions. The balcony was great and very relaxing to sit on and watch the world go by. Generally a great location, big room and but we wont stay there again if we decide to go to Hue on our next trip. unless there is seating and a jug in our room

Very clean and comfortable but low-budget hotel, in walking-distance to the city centre, with a swimming pool on the roof top (unfortunately covered with "swimming" insects..) including a quite nice view. Our room's highlight was the well maintained balcony with plants, 2 chairs and a table. Quite strange but funny interior decoration. The receptionist was the best we ever had in Vietnam. Breakfast according expectations, nothing special. I can recommend this hotel to everyone who is searching for a good price-quality ratio!
