Hotel Villa Margherita

I'd strongly suggest a "Superior" room, as those are the only ones with air conditioning, and you'll probably want that. It's clean and safe, and the staff speak "hotel English", i.e., most standard questions they can handle. We wanted information on bus tickets to Ceterveri, and this had to be managed in Italian, which I'd expected, but none of them had ever used that bus and had no idea where exactly to get tickets. We eventually found out, and to their credit, they asked us afterwards and noted down the answer for future reference. Mostly the hotel was really nice, except*** NO ELEVATOR past the 4th floor yet...** and warning, the hotel is frequented by LARGE tour groups which descend upon the breakfast en masse, so try to be there when it starts. But the food is pretty good and there are some really nice restaurants nearby along the Lungomare. When you book in advance on Expedia, your charges will be exactly as spelled out on the website, only the exchange rate will vary.

Perfect for one night before watching a cruise out of Civitavecchia. Close to the train station.

Hotel says they have parking but it is not true, you have to find parking on the street. good luck with that. I was traveling with family members last week(4/23/23). I booked 3 rooms in total. room #403, the toilet had "stuff" in it, if you know what I mean, I seriously doubt that room had been cleaned at all. room #511, had no toilet paper, i had to give my TP roll to them. room #507 smelled funny. AC did not work in all 3 rooms. stay at your own risk.

Super fint hotel, personalet var enormt imødekommende og hjælpsomme. Både værelset og morgenmaden var over forventningerne og det var placeret tæt på både vandet, hyggelige restauranter og caféer og tog, hvor man kan være inde i Rom på en halv time.

Hotel al limite della decenza. Una piscina che è una pozza. Stanza fatiscente, maleodorante ma soprattutto impossibile da soggiornare. Partiamo dal prezzo che per una notte ho pagato 200 euro e quindi mi aspettavo un albergo almeno decente invece è stato un hotel da incubo. Ci hanno alloggiato al 4 piano in una quadrupla con la mobilia sporca, rotta e con le formiche. La testiera del letto matrimoniale indecente praticamente da chiamare i nas come si evince dalle foto. Le ascensori erano due ma una delle due praticamente si bloccava a mezzo piano con la porta aperta a metà. Unica nota positiva è il personale composto da ragazzi vhe è molto disponibile e cerca di fare quello che può in una barca che praticamente deve solo affondare e la Posizione che è centrale ma questo non giustifica assolutamente il prezzo esorbitante per una notte. La colazione abbastanza ricca ma la macchina del caffè è vomitevole, il caffè esce praticamente bruciato e maleodorante, nonostante ho fatto presente allo staff che facendo spallucce mi hanno gentilmente indicato il bar a pagamento per un espresso. Alla mia finestra penzolava un filo proveniente dal soffitto. Aria condizionata senza il telecomando ma era la reception che andava chiamata per abbassare o alzare la temperatura. Le stanza non sono dotate di cassaforte ne di qualsiasi altro optional vhe giustificherebbe un prezzo così eccessivo. Ho riscontrato anche della muffa sul legno di ingresso della mia stanza. Un soggiorno indimenticabile

We stayed at the hotel for 7 nights with my family. We had a room on the fifth floor and there was only one elevator that went up there. Sometimes the elevator got stuck on some other floor (usually 1st or 2nd) and we had a stroller so we had to use the stairs and carry the stroller down. The stairs were a bit scary with the kids. They didn’t vacuum the room during our stay so the room was full of sand from the beach and they didn’t take out the trash very often. Our room was very dated and the shower cubicle was very tiny. Part of our family had their room on the third floor and their shower cubicle was bigger and cleaner. The pool was not in use during our stay which was very unfortunate. The breakfast was very nice and coffee was good. The dining area was nice and clean. Most of the tables inside were reserved but luckily we were also able to make a reservation. The staff was mostly helpful. Big thank you to Alessia who saved our trip and helped us book a taxi to the airport.
