Amazing hotel, thoroughly recommend a stay here.

The Talbot Hotel is a beautifully restored coaching inn that is so welcoming, has a great restaurant in the best setting. For us, it was as if we discovered an oasis on out travels. I will now be looking for the other inns that this group has renovated.

Nice Hotel, tucked away, quiet but thriving. Service was excellent. Will stay again if in the area.

Clean and convenient and with interesting character.

Beautiful character property which is very well maintained. Restaurant food is very good, rooms comfortable and even though i'm here for work i shall definitely be returning with my partner.

We live in the same area as the hotel but it was my wife's birthday and we like the Talbot so decided to stay over

Great stopover

A wonderful, peaceful stay at the Talbot Hotel. Convenient parking, decent coffee maker and everything one needs in a hotel room ie iron, hairdryer, quality toiletries. Great food and relaxed dining options and environment with the added bonus of being truly dog friendly. Staff in the restaurant were engaging with great customer service. A special shout out to Vanessa and Neil and all the staff in the restaurant. Thank you for a relaxing stay.

I really liked how the history of the hotel and its modern updating just seemed to fit together. I was impressed with its layout, the ample space, seating and tabling available for guests to sit outside and socialise. The staff were very helpful, assisting with any query we had with patience and politeness. The bedroom was very well equipped, with seating for two and ample storage space without it being overbearing. Very comfortable nights sleep was had and the food was very good and cooked to our requests. A very pleasant, relaxing stay in a clean, tidy homely accommodation in a small market town, steeped in history. I will visit Oundle again and I will stay at The Talbot Hotel.
