Magaggiari Hotel Resort

The rooms at this hotel are nice, spacious and well equipped. We found our room to be very clean and housekeeping was great and efficient each day. The pool is also lovely and quite peaceful as the hotel was in a fairly remote location. Room service food was great and breakfast also good.

This hotel is really quite unusual. It seems that they cater their business to conferencing/business people and airline crew, and almost seemed surprised to have guests who were just on holiday. It is in a fairly remote location near the airport with the main town centre a 30 minute walk away which is ok but in the summer heat it’s not the easiest! The main menu food is delicious but it is quite high end/fine dining and expensive, which is unusual for a hotel, especially in a location like this where there aren’t any other options at all. It’s the same menu at lunch and dinner with a very short serving window at lunchtime - it felt quite rushed and restrictive, plus service was slow. For the price point of the hotel I also would’ve expected nicer pool sunbeds rather than the thin uncomfortable ones. Lastly unfortunately due to the tiled floors in all rooms, the soundproofing is terrible and if you’re in a ground floor room like we were, you will hear footsteps and furniture moving constantly.

The restaurant had very few choices and the food was cold

Very convenient to Palermo Airport. Well appointed rooms. Wide range of food at breakfast, which was included in tariff

The hotel restaurant was open late to accommodate our arrival (good), but the meal was slow coming and the Linguini with prawns had half a prawn only!

It was close to the airport and walking distance to a beach where we spent a relaxing day before heading for Palermo City Centre

Sehr große Zimmer, freundliches Personal, schöne Hotelanlage, Strand fußläufig erreichbar, Frühstücks schmackhaft und vielfältig.

Der Frühstücksservice war wenig aufmerksam. Oft fehlte etwas, was jedoch auf Nachfrage schnell aufgefüllt wurde. Am Schreibtisch gab es keinerlei Steckdose. Hotel-Restaurant ist nicht zu empfehlen, die Portionen sind winzig, die Preise hoch und der Geschmack ist maximal mittelmäßig.
