Quirky - medieval knight theme. Welcome wine drink. Under cover parking. Excellent buffet breakfast

No coffee facility in the room, although they did supply hot water and cups from the kitchen ( we supplied our own coffee)

We liked that it was a stone’s throw away from the fort walls (you could see the fort wall and side entrance as soon as you exit the hotel). I was 7 month’s pregnant when we stayed here and I was able to walk the incline from the hotel right up through the village walls probably about 50 meters from hotel to village walls. It was great exercise.

Bed was stiff. I read reviews and saw other reviewers mention this but thought it was an exaggeration. It wasn’t

Special find on our road trip. Stayed a day longer.

Presented a medieval charm, and the breakfast was unbelievable. Also, the evening greet and meat was helpful as we met a delightful couple from Denmark.

Trying to find the place initially.

Parking garage for a fee- highly recommend. Lobby and hall decor added to visiting this castle town hotel. Comfortable bed - Antique room furniture. Breakfast had lovely food, most importantly homemade carrot and apple cakes as well as great baked apples. Champagne is even served if you fancy a mimosa.

Very close to town and delicious breakfast. It was an excellent advantage to have parking as we had our own car.

There were different odd smells. The staff was sometimes not attentive. The hairdryer in room was broken and we had to retrieve each morning an extra.

The hotel has a great location, walking distance to all atractions. The room was small but comfortable, the car garage was secured, and hotel mioffered really good breakfast. The hotel has an outside pool on the top of the building and very large tarrace .
