Ein einzigartiges Ambiente und ein Hotel, das in seiner ursprünglichen Form erhalten ist. Es ist unübertroffen, wenn es um die Klarheit der Formen und die konsequente Bewahrung und Pflege der ursprünglichen Substanz geht. Auch die Umgebung des Hotels ist vollständig erhalten, sodass die Idee des Architekten vollständig erlebbar ist.

Tendo visto os filmes de João Canijo (Viver Mal e Mal Viver, 2023) aqui rodados, há muito que queriamos visitar o local. É uma arquitectura de grande qualidade e que oferece um equilíbrio ímpar em termos de relação com o pinhal envolvente. Restaurante simpático. Staff acolhedor e profissional. Tencionamos voltar.

La situation de l'hôtel est privilégiée pour visiter le nord ouest du Portugal. Le personnel très sympathique. Particulièrement la dame blonde à la réception qui essayait de nous aider en nous parlant français.

Ce qui est dommage c'est que la façade de cet établissement aurait besoin d'un coup de peinture ou rénovation. Quand a l'intérieur ce sont les moquettes qui ont de l'âge.

Desayuno excelente. Habitación y hotel antiguo, ascensor se paró en dos ocasiones entrw plantas.

Piscina muy bien, hotel necesita una reforma.

This accomodation was like a film Set for an 70s film with iconic design. The rooms were comfortable and the pool was unusually a salt water pool. The breakfast was good and the management helpful.

Nothing to change

We have a very soft spot for this place, we love the location, in the middle of the trees, where you can hear the ocean , see the river and listen to the birds waking the whole world up with the day light. The architecture is absolutely stunning, with all the design details - lots of hidden gems. It definitely requires a renovation but hopefully if and when it happens with the great attention to the amazing sense of design it was done with. Really enjoyed the swimming pool area, entertainemnt facilities but mostly the location, and architecture of teh building itself.

Some of the areas could be better taken care of - breakfast is super basic, and when eaten for few days straight, it is really dull and boring. More attention from the stuff, like cushions for the swimming pool beds, where you have to ask on purpose, it is something that should be taken care of on a daily basis when the weather allows fo use of the area. During the day, at least ahead of the high season, not possible to get a cold water or anything, like snacks, etc.

Ein sehr abgewohntes Hotel mit besonderem Charm in hervorragender Lage zwischen Fluss und Meer. Die Juniorsuite war sehr geräumig mit kleiner Küche und Kühlschrank. Toller, großer Pool mit Sprungturm. Sehr ruhige Lage mitten im Pinienwäldchen und der tolle Strand in kurzer Entfernung. Prima Ausgangspunkt für Erkundungen entlang der Küste und kurze Fahrt zum Flughafen.

Das Hotel muss dringend renoviert werden. "Man darf nicht hinter die Kulissen schauen." Frühstück war sehr eintönig und nur Standard.
