Artemis Village

The owners of this establishment were the nicest people I ever met traveling to different countries. It was like staying with a host family. We were greeted promptly and every morning welcomed and asked what our daily plans were. They guided us in the right directions with helpful hints to stay safe, save money and the best eating options around. We walked into town everyday to enjoy a market, coffee and catch our tour bus but felt like we were in our own little village on their property. Horseback riding place was just a short walk away and they were just as welcome as was their friend the restaurant owner. It literally was like visiting family in Greece for an Irish girl.

The public bus is not available. The only way to get to the hotel is taking a taxi if you go to there early in the morning or late in the afternoon. Wi-Fi is often disconnected during our staying.

Was exactly what. I need for a night, the owner are very friendly .

No frills family-owned hotel. Very nice people. We stayed part of one night before a very early flight. The planes are extremely loud overhead and there is really no sleeping through them, and they go all night long.

A simply enjoyable stay , they do there best to make you feel at home

If you party person that hotel is NOT for you. If you do not like walking that hotel is NOT for you. I love the place, very quiet, NO tourist, NO bars, shuttle to and from airport (15min ride), black pebble beach, one restaurant around the area (5min walk down the hill). One food store (18 min walk). I walked from Fira to the hotel (45min walk 4km). I enjoyed rural scenery. Couple blue/white dome churches on the way. Safe area to walk. Friendly locals, BUT in other places like Oia, Fira WATCH your purses!!! Enjoy Santorini!!! USA, Elena D

The property itself wasn’t bad and was fairly clean however the male owner is extremely rude! When we arrived my husband briefly parked the vehicle in front of the property so we could unload our luggage. While we were in the room the owner came banging on our door and yelled at us that we needed to move the vehicle immediately, (mind you it had been there less than 2 mins and was not blocking anything or anyone). He was actually just about to move it anyways so the rudeness was unnecessary. We would have overlooked this but the next morning as we were driving away he chased us down and was upset because we put our luggage on the spare unused bed while we were unpacking. Was it really worth chasing us down over this? We were speechless on how to respond, we have never been treated like this before. He clearly does not know how to work with customers. Lastly, as a fair warning, this property is very close to the airport and the planes flying overhead are extremely loud in the middle of the night. They will wake you up many times throughout the night!
