Artemis Village

Lack of facilities in a remote location, 20 minutes from nearest bus stop, close to industrial area, and directly on flight path to airport. The only way to enjoy this as a holiday is to hire a car or quad bike and get away. On a very windy east coast. Might work as a backpackers' hostel.

Family run, welcoming hotel. Basic but clean. Lovely swimming pool and veiws. Do need to hire scooter or car as a bit off the beaten track.

I would highly recommend Artemis Village. It really is like being looked after by a loving aunt and uncle. They both work extremely hard to make sure your stay is as comfortable as possible. You can rent scooters/4 wheelers, book tickets for tours, get rides to and from the airport or town, get iced coffee (which is pretty hard to find on the island), get advice, check your email, etc all on the property. It also a great pool to relax at when your tired of the sand. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a hotel a little off the beaten path, who wants to experience Greek culture.

My wife and I went for our honeymoon and we were blown away by the view and the service! Artemis and his wife Anna are wonderful! They told us about all the great places to eat (all the recommendations were spot on!) They are extremely warm and welcoming. The hotel is right on the water. You are secluded from heavy traffic (recommend renting a 4 wheeler or scooter) which can be very busy in some of the other areas of the island (Thira). We will be returning to this hotel when we come back to visit. Artemis takes great pride and keeps the hotel very clean and presentable. The rates are very affordable and combined with the service we could not be more pleased!

This hotel is excellent... the rooms are spacious, clean, air-conditioned. Their is a swimming pool... And the family staffing the hotel are very hardworking and helpful and assisted us as well as the rest of their guest with getting the most out of the their vacation in Santorini... Kind and hardworking family own this Hotel. Artemis the owner is a very friendly outgoing person who will ensure you are satisfied with your stay... This hotel is a good choice, don't be afraid to book this hotel...it also offers port or airport pickup...
