Apartments and rooms Rogosic

We really loved are stay at rogosic! The room was big (30 kvm) with a gorgeous balcony overlooking the sea! The bathroom and kitchen was well equipped and we missed nothing! Wifi was just as good as home! The location was a short walk from both the city center and the beach (approximately 6 min). The owner was really sweet and we were served bear on the house when we arrived! We highly recommend a stay at Rogosic!

We stayed at this great apartment with an amazing view for 2 nights. The beach is 5 minutes away, city center 10 minutes and a supermarket 3 minutes away. The apartment was clean and spacious with everything you need to cook and stay for a longer period. The staff was friendly and service minded, we would definitely stay here again.

The apartments are dated. The location is not bad for getting to town or local beach clubs but there is quite an uphill walk when coming back. The owners are very nice and helpful.

Booked self catering, if it was room only why did we get fridge, kettle, washing facilities. It is called "Apartments" Disappointing

I'm writing this review in pain, shock, and total disappointment. THE OWNER OF THE HOTEL HIT ME AND PHYSICALLY ASSAULTED ME! ! ! ! ! ! DONT EVER STAY HERE. I was told to pay taxes on the hotel (which was an absurd 85% tax). I handed my credit card and she started yelling NO CREDIT CARD ONLY CASH. I told her I don't have cash and she got very mad and demanded I walk 15 minutes to the ATM. I explained I have a leg injury and asked if she could please drive me. She started screaming in Croatian and grabbed my luggage out of my hand and said "this is mine now". When I tried to take my luggage from her SHE SLAPPED ME IN THE FACE AND SHOVED ME TO THE FLOOR. Remind you, I have an injured leg and can barely walk (see photo). I tried defending myself but all 4 members of her family were on top of me and screaming in Croatian, probably thinking I don't want to take the money from the ATM but all I said is I can't walk please drive me. I am in shock by how evil and barbaric some humans could be. I am an honest person, I would never cheat, steal, or hurt anyone. I am a Harvard student and only want to make the world a better place. I did nothing to deserve this. PLEASE DONT EVER STAY HERE ! ! ! !

Room and bathroom were over run with ants

Lovely second floor apartment with small balcony affording charming sea view. Friendly and helpful owner. Comfortable king-sized double bed, adequate kitchen area and a small rather dated but functional bathroom. Good off-road parking in front of the apartment block. Well-sited; Old Town just ten minutes walk away and Bonj Beach close by. Towels and linen were crisp and clean and beach towels were provided. Some of the drawers and fridge could have done with a clean to remove crumbs etc. Tip: The apartment is on the road Juraja Dubokovica which is a very long and winding road extending from the nearby wooded hilltop to the built-up area. Our SatNav wouldn’t accept house numbers and directed us to this wrong part! The apartment is close to the Amphora Hotel and opposite the clinic.

We enjoyed our stay in these Apartments. The apartments are located about 10 minutes from the centre of Split but this is an uphill walk as Hvar is a very hilly town. This was a good location for accessing all that Split had to offer and was near to the beaches and bars. The room we stayed in was perfect, everything was clean and we had an amazing sea view over all the islands beside Hvar. The family who own the apartments were lovely and very helpful and accommodating during our stay. Good base to explore Split from if you're looking for a nice basic apartment in a good location.
