Hotel Indigo Baton Rouge Downtown by IHG

The rooms were clean and well decorated. The location was close to where I needed to be. The staff was great.

Although rooms were clean and well decorated, they are a bit small.

Great experience, clean room, clean bathroom and comfortable bed.

The women working at the bar / in the restaurant, especially Leeann Gourgues. Since this hotel does not seem to have a lot of personnel, at all, she is all over the place and being friendly all the same. She cooks a delicious étouffée, tends the bar and gives out travel recommendations. She should get a raise and a more senior position. I would employ her anytime.

Rooms are very small and somber, blinds and curtains do not work and were not fixed, despite my complaint. The AC is so loud, you can‘t hear yourself thinking. Remote controll doesn‘t work properly, not enough toilet paper. Carpet is filthy. The personnel at the reception is not helping in any way with anything at all. Neither luggage, defects in the room nor car rental issues. Reasoning, that they are already doing enough as it is.

The room was very nice but the air conditioning was eztremely noisy and backed up to the bed which made it freezing when it was on. The restaurant and bar area times needed to be extended. The staff was great and so was the location.
