Hotel Indigo Baton Rouge Downtown by IHG

Beautiful hotel!

The staff was rude and unhelpful. Housekeeping never came by on our second day, and when I called the front desk to ask about it, I was told that housekeeping has to be requested—something we were never informed about at check-in. I let them know we needed clean towels and for the trash to be taken out. Instead of helping, the staff member told me to come down to pick up towels myself and said there was nothing they could do about the dirty towels or trash until housekeeping returned the next day. Very disappointing service.

Property and staff was fantastic!! 10 stars for the people working there. Hotel was very nice and super clean. Only issue I had was theres nothing telling you about how you have to pay for parking everywhere. Even the hotel you have to pay for vallet they do not have their own lot for free parking. Expect an avg of 30 bucks a night extra for parking.

Our stay was awesome, thanks to our wonderful staff, Chrissy and Brandon. We rented through a third party who totally messed up our reservations but Chrissy and Brandon went above and beyond to handle the issue. I’m reserving for a week in a couple of weeks just because of these 2. Room was nice and clean. Highly recommend this property!!!!

Do not ever stay in this hotel ! Not only do they ignore responding to guests but they also ignored IHG when they try to take up our case There is no point in having a hotel brand like IHG when a hotel in the group ignores both IHG and its guests What happened ? We collected a rental car from New Orleans airport and drove straight to the Baton Rouge hotel where the valet took the car keys to park the car The next morning a different valet went to collect the car. We stopped on the way for a coffee and at that point we realised that the rear of the car was damaged. Also i had left a Moncler jacket in the car and that had disappeared. We tried several times to contact the hotel via phone and email but we had no answer from them.So we posted a review back in april saying how bad the hotel were in not responding IHG rapidly comtacted us and said the hotel would contact us. .They didnt So i then wrote again to IHG who again responded quickly saying the hotel would respond to us within 48 hours. They didnt .Quite simply IHG are toothless and the hotel is totally incapable of looking after its guests. Guests beware

Check in was fast and professional! Hotel was in a good area where everything was walking distance. Very clean hotel and very quiet. People that work the desk was very nice.
