KTDC Tamarind Mannarkkad

I stayed here just one night on my way to Silent Valley National Park. I did not arrive until 9pm so I cannot say what there is to do/not to do in the vicinity of the hotel, but for just spending the night this hotel is surprisingly good value for money. The staff spoke good English and were very helpful in sorting out my transport to the Park early next morning; both my late-night supper and breakfast was good and filling. The rooms are very spartan but clean and the AC and fan seemed to work fine for me. I wouldn't spend more than a night here and guess there is little to do in Mannarkkad but as an overnight stop you can't beat this little place.
