Lake Hume Holiday Park

The area was beautiful and there were some interesting things for the kids, like the jumping pad, playground and green space. The cabin was a good size also.

We expected some things to not be available as it was "off" season ( such as the pool area), but we were also not told about what was or was not available, such as the in-house cafe being closed. Also our beds were not even made when we got there, but the old pillow cases were left on.. The dvd player did not work, and there were mouldy broken tiles in the bathroom.

Spacious, quiet and lots of things for the kids

Very hard to get staff on the phone and the kids beds weren’t maid up which was a little annoying when you arrive later in the evening.

I thought it was excellent for a family, just a little disappointed that the games room was closed, but understood they are updating it and no it will be awesome for next time, will definitely return.

It met our needs.

The cabin suited my needs. It was clean, comfortable and functional.

Nothing at all was open on the day I arrived, not even reception. I used a washing machine in the laundromat because it accepted card payments but couldn't use a dryer because they required coins and there was no one available at the park to change money for me. I arrived at the park on foot - I was walking the Hume and Hovell Track. I only needed to stay for one night but there was a two-night minimum when booking online, so I had to pay for two nights even though I only stayed for one. And this restriction applied even though the park was virtually empty - it was like a ghost town. Why couldn't I book for a single night? I emailed the park on another matter but did not receive the courtesy of a reply. Basically, it seems that if you stay at the park out of season you are on your own. Don't expect any park facilities to be available but do expect to have to pay for two nights even if you only want to stay for one.

Nice and quiet place to stay. Love that you can come and go as you please. Place has new owners so maintenance work is happening, some upgrades to the cabin amenities are required as the toilet was constantly filling, but otherwise the staff were amazing and the overall experience was lovely and inviting.

The property was great we loved the farm animals and quiet location

We just felt that everything in our cabin was old and did not work properly. The TV from day 1 was annoying the remote did not work and we couldn’t change the channel and the care taker tried to replace and then fix it but for the last 2 nights we had no tv because the signal didn’t work we probably could have called the caretaker again but we just wanted some peace and quiet it took him along time to fix it the first time. He was helpful and the place was nice but it could have been better
