Woodlands Suites Serviced Residences

Stayed here for three nights and enjoyed it very much. Located in a very quiet side street but close to main North Pattaya Road, with all of its bar and eating establishment options. Suites are really good. I stayed in deluxe studio room, which is 56 sq Mtrs including a generous outside balcony. It was on the top (7th) floor so had views over Pattaya and out to sea. Has its own exclusive swimming pool, but also have access to two additional pools in the adjacent Woodlands hotel, with access through a security gate. Breakfast was first class and served al la carte ( not buffet ) in the lobby located Italian restaurant "Grappa". Did have other meals here because a bit too expensive for my budget and anyway I prefer to eat out at local eating establishments, when travelling. While located a bit away from the central madness nightlife areas of Pattaya , it is only a short ten baht bus trip, to go there. Thoroughly recommend for those who prefer a quieter, quality place to stay at Pattaya.

A litte bit out of the way, but still not too far from walking street. Maybe 10 minutes in a car depending on traffic at beach road. Quiet and well kept, and quiet was excactly what I was looking for as I was staing with my kid.

we stayed at woodlands suites for 10 nights and loved every minute of it. The room - executive studio pool access suite. was immaculate, the only thing I can fault the room and stay was that the pool stairs and rail to the pool rooms do not get cleaned or scrubbed properly as there was green mould that has allowed to grow on them. I loved La Baguette, once I finally got time to go there I was there every day buying a yummy cake, We loved our stay at Woodlands that when we go to Pattaya again it will be the only place we stay, and the next visit will be up to 2mths stay.

Very much enjoyed our stay at the Woodlands suites and residencies the place itself was immaculate in every way and the staff always so very helpful and welcoming there were 3 pools to choose from all with their own features the food served at the Hotel again was excellent..the only downside were the ill mannered elderly German residents who always took 4 sun beds when by the hotel pool there were many Asian families who had to share beds due to this behaviour and the hotel staff need to make sure this does not occur but apart from this our stay was fantastic and most enjoyable

Overall experience was very nice. Although my first impression with a 'male' reception staff who helped us check in wasn't very good. He didn't smile, didn't seem friendly, and didn't look like he wanted to help us. Quite strange - perhaps he was having a bad day and we caught him at that moment. Anyhow, stayed in normal rooms for first two days then upgraded to the poolside room once it was free. If you can, always go for the poolside room - it is very nice and our kids loved it. Breakfast buffet was nice, restaurant staff were very friendly. Bellboy was very friendly from the moment we arrived. Would definitely consider staying again - location in Pattaya is decent too, not too far from beach road and where all the shopping is.

As a golfing group (arranged through Simon at Coco Golf which I recommend highly) we stay at Woodlands each year..We have been very pleased with the airconditioned,spacious rooms (there are various sizes & prices ),the cleaning staff are excellent(rooms serviced daily),the pool is well maintained ,the admin staff are capable,professional & friendly...All staff at Woodands are in a smart uniform & are obviously very well trained...WIFI is a bit "iffy" but is free...Rooms have cutlery,crockery,a hotplate,Microwave,TV,fridge etc & a supermarket is not far away...I prefer to have the buffet breakfast in the main area (There is a gate between suites & the other area).The breakfast has a very good selection of juices, cereals,Asian dishes,,omelettes ,eggs,,bacon baked beans breads,croissants etc etc...very good.. The suites area has an a-la-carte breakfast which I find a bit restricting (although I did enjoy a Japanese Breakfast one morning)This restaurant (La Grappa) features breakfast,lunch & dinner..It has a well stocked bar,a good wine list & is an elegant place to dine...The staff are very good here too If you're on a budget,the main area of Woodlands has many rooms,a couple of pools (with bar),a gym & a spa... We'll be staying here(in the suites !) again next year..

Staff is slow to understand customers' requirement. Poor English communication skills. They change the rate for taxi or other activities of sightseeing.

Where to start. The Suite we were in was absolutely great and the maid was terrific. If however you want to spend time by the pool, then I suggest you stay elsewhere. Maybe we were just unlucky, but there are about 70 rooms and only 22 loungers by the pool. These were mostly filled by long term stayers who seemed to think they owned the place. When I say long term I’m talking 2-3 months. We were told one couple stay there for 11 months of the year. Towels were out at the crack of dawn and at one stage a couple sitting next to us were told by a German that “this is a German area”. If they had actually used the loungers it wouldn’t have been so bad but, half the time they didn’t appear until after lunch and then only stayed a short while. Management told us that they had had words, but it made no difference. Who needs hassle on holiday. I go for a quiet restful time. Nice suites Woodlands, it’s just a pity about some of your long term guests.
