Salad Beach Resort

We had a very nice stay at the Salad Beach Resort. Very friendly staff, big rooms, the Best breakfast, right on the beach, perfect with small children. We would definitely go back!

Sehr schöne Anlage mit tollem Pool und Hoteleigenen Sonnenliegen direkt am Strand. Wir hatten keinen Bungalow sondern ein Zimmer mit Meerblick direkt über dem Restaurant inkl. Frühstück. Wir haben uns grundsätzlich sehr wohl gefühlt hier, va der Strand war zu unserer Zeit (Ende Nov/Anfang Dez) genial, klares Wasser, man konnte ein gutes Stück rein laufen, aber auch relativ früh schwimmen. Das Frühstück und das Restaurant sind allerdings überschaubar gut, wir hatten hier selten gut gegessen und waren meistens auswärts essen. Einzig negativ auffallend ist das Service Personal im Restaurant/Strandbereich. Hier hatte während unseres Aufenthaltes keiner wirklich Bock auch nur irgendwas zu arbeiten.... Zimmer waren ansonsten sauber und wir würden durchaus wieder kommen...

Nice quiet place on the beach front it's perfect for a quiet chilled holiday . Not the best location if u like to shop or enjoy a lively night there are only a dozen or so hotels and small shops about . If u are going to the full moon the hotel dose have a shuttle bus which is a really good idea as its about 45/50 min drive away but would really recommend for S few chilled days away from the buzz of samui and the full moon

it's terrible without hair dryer

Room was lovely (215) with garden view. Staff were great. Breakfast plentiful . Stayed at start of monsoon so there was a lot of water about on the paths - which they constantly spray anyway!? Others have written about mould in bathroom - it's on the outside of the aircon pipe - well there's no ventilation so will develop regularly after cleaning - it's just not an issue. Enjoyed the stay. thanks

I stayed there for 5 days and loved it! The price is right and the grounds are lovely. Wifi was pretty fast and functional. Staff was very kind and helpful. I got a few good massages on the grounds as well. One word of warning. The bike rental shop next door (NOT AFFILIATED WITH THE RESORT) will try and hit you hard for ANY scratches to their bikes. This is a common scam in Thailand. Our friend caught a rock on the bottom of his scooter. Very small scratch. Something you'd get out with a nail file. They hit him up for $200. They have your passport, so you're kind of stuck. Maybe try a different place. They're not so nice when they want your money.

Great resort in a lovely setting. The scabby dogs around the breakfast eating area is a real downer and the breakfast needs a wider range of choices.

Das Hotel liegt etwas Abseits des Trubels, der sich Anfang Sept. ohnehin sehr abgeflahaut hatte. Das Zentrum ist aber trotzdem in fünf Gehminuten zu erreichen. Die Aussicht beim Frühstück und beim sonnen ist herrlich. Bei guter Sicht,, d.h. vor Vollmond kann man sicher auch prima schnorcheln. Aufgrund des flachen Wassers und der Steine ist der Strand deshalb aber zum schwimmen nicht geeignet. Preisniveaus des Essens und der Getränke empfanden wir gegenüber der Konkurrenz als zu hoch. Klimaanlage im Zmmer störte die Ruhe ein wenig.
