Beautifully presented. Large apartment. The bathroom and kitchen had floor heating. Music was on. Very welcoming

The heating was quite good. Shower was good. Location was decent. They created a really nice ambience, when we first entered the apartment. It was also very easy to do self check in.

Their operating hours are between 9am to 5pm… We were consistently never in the apartment at that time, and were forced to come into the office to hand over credit card details (sacrificing the precious, limited time that we had)… Honestly, waste of time to do this. No breakfast here. They had a microwave and plates, silverware, but we had to use the bathroom sink to wash dishes. We also had a view of the parking lot, but I guess you can choose a better room and pay a bit more, for a dishwasher and view of the lake. Parking inside the apartment is not great, but it was not difficult to find parking outside the apartment (at least during non-peak tourist season, at the start of June).

Very large rooms, plenty of space for luggage. Very clean, new, modern.

We could hear very well our neighbours when they were talking in the other appartment.

Room was tiny, even smaller than a hotel room so once you have your luggage in there is absolutely no room to even walk through the room. Not sustainable if you’re staying more than 1/2 nights, which we need for 1 week. Constant flushing noise from the toilet area. Bought these issues up to staff and didn’t say anything at all, just that all the rooms are the same size and the noise was the fan, which it wasn’t. Suggested a shared storage that all have access too, Also consider taking your luggage up and down wet staircases. You are provided amenities to store and prepare food but no sink or washing up facilities. Would have appreciated some kind of gesture towards the difficulties of our stay considering we had paid and stayed for one week before settling in the area but my concerns were responded with ‘okay’. Not one to write poor reviews about anywhere but was quite disheartened by this one.

The Highview Apartments are the perfect place to stay in Queenstown, which can get hectic. Spacious, quiet and super clean apartment. Very modern and comfortable. Well stocked and thought out with all the conveniences needed by travelers. Absolutely loved the views overlooking the lake and back at the town center. (Lake view room is worth it!) And loved the two couches! The fireplace warmed the rooms really quickly. Appreciated the washer/dryer combo machine and auxiliary laundry rack to re-set mid-trip. The Staff at reception were very warm and accommodating. The hot tub and gym were basic but really convenient, clean and a perfect end of the day ritual to ease sore muscles after hiking. The parking wasn’t too bad and plenty of spots on the street in a quiet neighborhood if the lot was full. Quick downhill walk to the bustling Queenstown center with lots all the restaurants, shops and tour boats. Overall, it quickly felt like home and we were extremely satisfied with the Highview Apartments. Highly recommended.
