High Chaparral Inn

Reception staff was very pleasant and helpful; room was clean and comfortable.

The entry to the parking lot needs a bit of work.

Didn't get our rooms. No one at office to check in. We went to another property and paid again.

No service rang bell and called number on door. It would take 30 minutes before anyone could come and check us in. We arrived 3:30 pm check in was after 3pm.

Location

Dirty and in need of updating. Mystery substance on bathroom entry. Carpet needed replaced 5 years ago and mattress needed replaced 20 years ago.

The property did not have availability when we showed up with a confirmed Booking.com reservation.

Desk had no explanation and would not process a cancellation or call booking.com to issue the refund.

The hotel is located very near the area I was hunting.

Close to the Church

Place was dirty looks like it’s on ongoing remodel all the time.

Nothing about the Motel was likeable.

Motel in a rough part of town. The parking was very tight and the parking lot surface was rough and pot-holed. The management had even posted a notice in the room that indicated that car break-in and damage to the vehicle was a likely event.
