Hyatt Regency Oryx Doha

Still one of the best Hyatts around. I always look forward to. Coming to Doha and especially this hotel. Everything works great and it seems like business has picked up a lot at this hotel and in the city of Doha. You can tell that by the airport it is packed.

Location to the airport is great and staff were really good. Design of the hotel is also beautiful with many excellent restaurants. Though the rooms are well designed, there is, very oddly, a nightclub on the Ground Floor where music can be heard thumping from until the early hours, and the smoking smell drifts up making it difficult to sleep.

The hotel is perfect. The location is great - close to the airport and with nearby metro station. The rooms are clean na tidy. The hospitality is excellent.

This was an amazing experience, we will definitely be staying there in the future if needed. The staff was superb and exceeded our expectations.

I stayed in a standard twin room at the Hyatt Regency Doha while travelling with a relative. The room itself offered great space and thoughtful storage, with plenty of shelves for clothing. I also appreciated the large bottles of shampoo and body wash in the bathroom. They were far more practical than the tiny bottles many hotels still use. The room included soft slippers, a bathrobe, bottled water, a mini fridge, a kettle and a coffee maker with both regular and decaf pods. The bed was comfortable, and all the reading lights and desk lamps worked properly. The room felt reasonably insulated for winter. Two things brought the experience down. First, both USB charging ports next to the bed didn’t work, which was inconvenient. Second, the hot water was limited, which is a real issue in winter. The shower design also made the problem worse. Its long, wide layout allowed heat to escape too quickly, so the space never warmed up properly. Overall, the room quality was good, but the hot water, shower layout and non-functional USB ports affected my stay. Fixing these would make a big difference.

Outstanding hotel. Great breakfast. About 15 minutes drive from the airport. Large rooms. Booked as I had a 8 hour stopover. Will use again in sha Allah.

Most comfortable bed. Showerhead was out of this world. Room service was quick with delicious offerings. From checking in, there was a welcoming atmosphere. Friendly and courteous staff. Will definitely come back for a longer stay

Very nice and clean hotel. Very easy check-in and gentleman behind the desk, convinced me and my friends to pay for the dinner buffet at the hotel, which we thoroughly enjoyed. All the staff was professional and accommodating.
