Nice staff and good location

The heat in my room was unbearable and made sleeping very difficult.

Breakfast took too long

Excellent location. Car park is fairly small so get there early if you can. Good spot overlooking the river. Really nice bathroom and shower, also liked the pelmet in the room. Friendly staff. It was very busy when we visited as it was a bank holiday. Can't comment on the food as we stayed room only. A discount off the food menu might be a good incentives for guests staying at the hotel.

The room was a bit stuffy but it was a very hot day when we visited so not the hotels fault. There is air con in main areas but not the rooms themselves but this is to be expected in the North. Also we asked for a quiet room but not sure we got one as we woken up by a family eating breakfast outside on the terrace at the front. Rooms at the back might be quieter perhaps.

Bedroom was a bit small and backed on to pubs. So noisy at night

Location & general standard

Our room was too hot as the electric heater in the bathroom could not be turned off by the staff - although I do know there would have been a circuit break that could have been isolated somewhere

perfect as it was next door to the venue we were visiting hence why we stayed there

Perfect location for Picturedrome concert venue - it’s next door!

Single rooms, whilst well equipped are very cramped and facilities shoe horned in but ok for 1 night stay
