Hotel Blumenstein

Hotellet er et udmærket mellemklasse hotel for dem der lige skal bruge et praktisk sted at overnatte i Frauenfeld. Perfekt beliggenhed hvis man rejser med tog da stationen ligger på modsatte side af hotellet. Desuden ligger det perfekt for shopping da byens største indkøbscenter ligger ca. 100 m væk.

Noisy from station and bars , church bells keep waiking you up eventually you get to ignore them. You ha to keep the windows closed .

I simply stayed over night. It is just in front of the station. No problem.

Zimmer sind recht klein, aber zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Frühstücksbuffett war sehr einfach, insgesamt okay. Das Hotel liegt direkt am Bahnhof - für An- und Abreise sehr günstig, ansonsten sehr laut. Für Dienst und geschäftsreisen ok - zum Urlaub würde ich woanders hinfahren. Für den Preis, hätte ich etwas anderes erwartet.

Good location, 50m from the train station. Very spacious room, super clean. Very nice bed, good pillow, thick and warm duvet. Free internet, remember to ask for username/password for all your devices. Breakfast was OK; no warm food, but you can get eggs, bacon, ham for an extra cost. Very friendly staff, nothing to complain about. I was also lucky to get one of the free parking spots right outside the hotel, very convenient.

Das Hotel liegt direkt gegenüber des Bahnhofs Frauenfeld. Alte Zimmer aber mit neuem Inventar. Gute Betten und sehr freundliches Personal. Gutes Frühstücksbuffet!

Preis/Leistung tip top. Optimale Lage & freundliches Personal. Auch das Frühstück ist vielfältig und wird immer wieder nachgefüllt.

This is a clean and well located hotel. However as with most Swiss hotels not much in the line of comforts. It is basic and there is a lot of noise at night because of the location trains, church bells etc. so if you sleep with the window open it can be challenging. The bathroom can be quite cramped. It is reasonable value for the area.
