Shambhala Guesthouse

We were so impressed with the Shambala guesthouse. Beautiful rooms, cozy common rooms and fabulous brekky. You will need a vehicle to drive to Bridgetown for dining options but it is not a big deal. I would not hesitate to recommend this gem. We had a very relaxing 2 nights. Thanks so much

I'm dairy free and low carb so didn't have the breakfast though the location was absolutely fantastic. So peaceful and quiet. And I especially liked how friendly their dog was. The View was absolutely stunning, and you could tell that Ruth went to great lengths to make sure things were always topped up for her guests and provided lots of little things like a kettle and second bin in the room that many wouldn't think of providing.

The walls were very thin, so as soon as someone walked down the hallway, others could hear. I know probably difficult to add this to an existing set-up, but it would have been nice to have a sink in the kitchen area for washing and preparing any simple foods like salad. This would not be necessary for many guests though as I'm dairy free and low carb, I do have to bring foods like this with me.

A very well maintained guesthouse with beautiful vistas all around. Great breakfast with wide choice and lovely homemade bread. Spacious bedroom. Friendly host. All in all highly recommended.

The breakfast was a continental with homemade bread and homemade jams, delicious. Our hosts were a lovely couple who worked very hard to make our stay enjoyable and gave us complete privacy. We will definitely stay there again.

Such a find!... beautifully situated, out of town with amazing views, and beautifully appointed. Ruth and Rory made us feel totally at home. Bridgetown is a lovely town, and is also a great base for exploring the whole southwestern corner of WA.
