Skanstulls Boutique Hostel

We had a really pleasant stay at this hostel and it exceeded our expectations. We hadn’t stayed in hostels before, so this experience was a very positive surprise. The place feels cozy, and the rooms are comfortable. It was great to have a TV with plenty of channels. The common areas were generally clean and well-maintained, and the kitchen was convenient and easy to use. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The location is excellent – there’s a metro station right nearby, and you can easily reach Gamla Stan on foot in about 20 minutes.

We occasionally noticed some hair in the showers. However, this seemed more related to other guests not cleaning up after themselves rather than an issue with the hostel itself, as overall everything was clean and tidy. Also, the men’s showers could be more private—similar to the women’s closed shower stalls.

La struttura é molto accogliente e ben organizzata. Ho apprezzato moltissimo che per accedere alle docce femminili si dovesse passare la chiave magnetica, così facendo l’ingresso resta accessibile solo alle donne.

Gli orari della reception sono forse un po’ troppo ristretti, soprattutto per il deposito bagagli dopo il check out.

The shower.

Gas was everywhere, from.kitchen to bathroom to multiple rooms, and all through the corridors. They said it's from barbecuing outside, but this seems ridiculous and it.seemed to return late at night but more discreetly. It was extremely cruel to one other particular guest I have in mind.
