Glenelg Dockside Motel

Very good location, friendly staff. The room had a weird smell. The shower head was dripping the whole night and hasn’t been clean for a long time, making having a nice shower impossible. Walls pealing, chunks is paint on the floor.

Great place to stay just a short walk to the main strip in Glenelg and the wharf

Not much to like about the property itself. Room was very poorly presented. You could feel the springs in the bed. Bathroom was terrible. Shower curtain that did nothing to keep the floor from flooding. No insert in bathroom sink, just a big hole that was filled with goop. Counter staff leave a lot to be desired when dealing with customers. Asked me to sign a 'Covid declaration' & the questionnaire stated mandatory to provide my credit card details (AGAIN) on an Ipad after she had already taken my card physically & handed back after 10 minutes. Had already paid for the room prior to arriving & had already put a $200 hold on my card, which was more than the cost of the room. I expressed my concern at their insistent request to put my detail sin again due to all the cc skimming going on but they would not let us into the room until we had completed it. Their aggressive insistence to put my card details onto their Ipad made me feel VERY UNCOMFORTABLE. And their attitude was EXTREMELY RUDE. If not for the location, I doubt this Motel would still be in business.

It was in a great location, affordable, casual, and staff were approachable and friendly

Check in was a lengthy process. $200 was removed from my account a few days prior to our stay with no notice given. So that was a bit disappointing. I thought I had booked a spa room. Other than that all ok

The staff was welcoming and friendly. The room was presented with pride it was let down by a noisy air-conditioning and lumpy bed.

Overnight trip staff were friendly and will stay again

Liked how close motel was to all shops etc

It is a very confortable place and close to the beach
