Riad El Yacout

First and foremost, the finest service and staff around! We are grateful to Marcos, Obama, Elias, Hassania, and all the staff behind the scenes who made our stay exceptional and memorable. The riad itself is beautiful and full of charm, the room was nicely sized, the bathroom and shower was very nice, and the riad is in a very convenient location. As two women travelers, we felt safe and very well taken care of. The food was delicious as well, albeit a bit pricey. Highly recommend this riad.

We stayed at the Riad Yacout for three nights. Amazing Moroccan hospitality and very friendly staff. Our room on the main floor was very comfortable with a beautiful Moroccan touch. One of the staff made all the difference… Marcus stood out as going above and beyond and made our visit at the riad great. He is professional, always very attentive, pays attention to the little details and loves to entertain the guests. He made the difference between a good visit and a great visit at the riad! We stayed at the Riad El Yacout for 3 nights. The experience was fantastic. The best part of the stay was service we received from the staff. From the time we walked in the door until we left they made our experience wonderful. Anything you need there were there to help and assist. Marco, Obama, and Hecham are their names and they are a true joy and a blessing to be encounter on our journey through Morocco. The food is excellent the beautiful building and rooms are clean and very comfortable. Could not have asked for better service or stay. So thankful we found this little gem!

This Riad is fit for a King! The rooms are so elegant. The staff are extremely gracious and kind, especially Marcos and Obama. An unbelievable and always cherished experience. A must stay while in Fes. The service that Marco and Obama provide during meals is outstanding. There isn't anything they won't do to accommodate your needs.

We had an excellent stay at this historic hotel. Never did we imagine this beautiful hotel would emerge from a narrow alley The rooms were more than spacious and very comfortable. Marcos and Mehdi entertained us with Bollywood songs I recommend it to anyone planning to visit this Moroccon city.

The Riad was a beautiful traditional home close to the Fez Medina. Marcos and Hischim were so accommodating and helpful. They were attentive to all our needs and we felt like family. On the first evening of our arrival, they served us a Moroccan meal that was exceptional - traditional Moroccan soup, at least 12 small plates of various appetizers, salad, chicken pastilla and 3 different tangines. We finished our many course dinner with a delicious dessert. What an introduction to the wonderful cuisine of Morocco. Truly an oasis in the center of Fes! We were greeted warmly with Moroccan mint tea and dinner even after a late arrival. Our accommodations were superb and the food and service were top notch. Best of all? Our friend Marcos made us feel 100% at home. Will be sending all our Moroccan-bound friends here!

Hospitality, location, hotel lobby decor. We booked the standard double room for 2 nights. First night we stayed in standard double room. Second night they upgraded us to Suit when we complained about the room and bathroom smell.

There was a weird smell in the bathrooms in both the rooms (may be because the property is very old). No mirror in the room (it is a small thing, but saves a lot of time when 2 or more people are sharing the room, don't have to block the bathroom to get ready). Normal Breakfast. Served the burnt omlette. We booked the standard double room and the room was not at all up to the standards of a 4 star property (for the price we paid). It was like 1 or 2 star hotel. I think the whole focus of the management is on hotel lobby and other things, not on the rooms. The pictures on the site for a standard double room does not match the actual. No parking. Parked the car on road, near the Riad and we paid extra for the parking. Not value for money.

My friend and I stayed here for two nights. Wonderful experience with a very attractive staff. The building itself is amazing. Highly recommend and we will return.
