The Lodges at Gettysburg

Check in was great, staff friendly! Room clean! Area beautiful

Tavern and outside pond, firepit area and such were all pretty nice. Location was a bit out but nice. I liked the area.

I thought all cabins were individual, I thought some had adjoining cabin rooms for people traveling with you, not for people you didn't know. I was expecting a cabin to ourselves with a couple chairs out front like in the pics online. We had to go in the side door and no chairs, no real view while other people stayed in the adjoining room. The bed was not comfortable, the mattress should be replaced. No wake up alarm/phone. Room was a bit old looking, scuffed up bed frame, bathroom looked repainted but found at least 5 spots of paint on the floor and also on molding, not very nice. Some other stuff not the best either. Not horrible, but a bit disappointed.

My wife and I loved this pla e and would definitely stay again. Our kodge was very nice! The online restaurant has great food and our server was awesome!

Lodges are spacious and comfortable.

We didn't care for the food/drinks at the restaurant on property.

Restaurant was not open for breakfast, only dinner. We would have appreciated breakfast there.

Only dinner was offered. Due to the distance from town, it would have been nice to have had breakfast there.

I like that it’s outside of town and so quiet and pretty!

Gorgeous , well kept and peaceful

The cabin was very comfortable and clean, cleaner than most hotel rooms. The site was very quiet and relaxing with a stunning view. We didnt use the restaurant but it smelled good! A short and scenic ride from downtown Gettsysburg was more than worth it.

Our room was spacious and beautiful. 1 br suite with 2 queen beds, a separate living room and kitchenette, an electric fire place and a covered porch.

Beds were a little uncomfortable and could use updating. TVs are really small. We had pretty terrible weather and did spend a bit of time in the room, a bigger TV in the living room would have been nice. But thats nit-picking, we also felt that our room saved our trip with the amount of space we had.
