"Delightful and quiet"

Very nice facility in a quiet location. Elegant room with comfortable bed. Only problem was front desk argued about providing the free bottle of wine mentioned in the booking and the lights in the bathroom required you to turn on the room lights first.

"Cheated!"

Stayed twice in July and August for 8 days each to be near family in crisis. Amazed that no breakfast (or even biscuits) available for such a huge expense. Paid £240 per night on Expedia in August only to discover the restaurant had closed without alerting us. Room small, dark, poorly serviced, unclean, poorly maintained and shower without grab rails. Manager eventually gave us a bottle of wine and sob story but unable to gain deserved financial recompense. Clearly an hotel in trouble. Check before you book. Feel utterly cheated.
