Tabsfield B&B

We were greeted with a cold glass of beer and glass of wine on arrival. Our host and hostess were very friendly and welcomed us to their beautiful home, set in lovely gardens. Nothing was too much trouble. Our bed was very comfortable and we were able to enjoy our drinks on the balcony over looking the gardens.

Such a lovely couple and a lovely place. We will be going back again.

We stayed here for our 1st anniversary and was absolutely perfect! The place was beautiful and was stunning to stay at. The couple running it were amazingly helpful, booking a great nearby restaurant for us in the village and recommending all the best things to do in the area - which there is loads to do! The breakfast was brilliant and all there was way more amenities than we expected. All the beauty of Kent is nearby where we walked to the village, Roman villa, Castle ruins, World Gardens and up into the poppy fields on the hills! This truly was the best B&B we have ever stayed at - highly recommended for a weekend break from London to get some village countryside in style!

When I first booked, I was quite surprised to receive a call within 10 minutes to thank us for the booking and to say how much they were looking forward to seeing us. Then, a couple of days before, another call to apologise for the fact that we were to be left in their son's hopefully capable hands as they had to go away. That friendliness remained: excellent attention to detail. Only comment is that the memory foam mattress topper made the bed comfortable but VERY warm!

This was a lovely little cottage,exactly what we needed for our stay, and the couple who owned it couldnt have been nicer, no faults at all

Beautiful house in a lovely location. Room was spotlessly clean with every possible amenity. Lovely couple who run Tabsfield, friendly, helpful, informative. A real home from home, it was like visiting friends. Would recommend to everyone. Very close to Brandshatch and lovely village with a range of eateries.

Great stay - difficult to find this B&Bin the dark, but definately a perfect place with wonderful hosts! Would recommend to anyone, even for me as a business traveller!

We stayed in the detached cottage in the garden which was very private and had all the necessities for cooking. Breakfast in the main house was lovely in an antique room full of light with a piano.The location is also great for walking into the town to see the Roman villa or in the countryside - you could also walk from the train if you wanted.
