"Ideal village pub"

Perfect. Even had shared lounge for guests although light level was just too low for comfortable reading. Good bar with cask beers good range of menu options including vegan and gf. Would happily book again

"Lively village location"

Always a warm welcome, great food and selection of beer in this lively village location. The bed could have been a bit better but as only there two nights it was bearable. Well worth a visit.

Was disappointed in that for a very old coaching inn, the room lacked any warmth or character and bed was very uncomfortable. It provided what i needed as a room for the night but i doubt I'd rebook.
