One word FANTASTIC Everything I wanted and needed in a Aparthotel
We used the indoor swimming pool. The lady was quite rude and impolite. The understandable policy was no outdoor footwear but when i questioned why she was wearing outdoor footwear she said it was because she needed to go in and out frequently! The following day she asked where one of the towels we borrowed was although we left them all in the basket the previous day, she was insinuating we stole it and i really didn't like the manner in which she was asking. She then asked my wife to stop my children from diving in the pool (understandably) and a maintenance man in his overalls to stand watching my wife which made her uncomfortable as she was in her swim-wear...
Had a great time, hotel apartment well equipped no complaints. Due to the time of year the sun didn't get to the pool until the afternoon, and the pool was very cold, but that was not a problem as it was so close to the beach, and we went out each day. Pool and surrounding gardens well kept and also the use of the indoor pool was free and a jacuzzi. We did not eat at the hotel so can not comment on food. Plenty of bars and restaurants near by and breakfast served all day so we eat out.
Apartment even better than expected. Lovely roomy apartment with nice furnishings and very clean. Huge balcony with a great view of the pool. All areas of this hotel were in pristine condition making it like a 5 star establishment and even better than some 5* hotels I've stayed in. Would not hesitate to recommend it to others as it was also in the perfect location for the sights and beach of Marbella.
Problem with air conditioning in apartment 307 could not sleep on Monday night 23th October reported to reception still the same Tuesday night We lost 2 nights sleep over it
The Sultan is our favourite hotel in Marbella. It's a beautiful hotel in a prime location a few minutes from the prom. The apartments are spacious with an attached balcony. The staff are ever friendly and made us very welcome. Maybe the furniture could be upgraded .
Excellent location only 250 yards from the beach and close to a range of restaurants and shops. 15 mins walk from Orange Square. Accomodation was very comfortable and ideal for a relaxing weekend. Sheltered pool and gardens to the rear. Would not hesitate to recommend to others.
Fantasticly located Apartments/Hotel.Beach and local shops 5 minutes away.Seafront walk to marina and Orange square 10-15 minutes approx. Excellent bar/restaurant part of the hotel called Palmyra.
I have stayed here numerous times and it is in a great position, what lets it down is the consistency of the staff. Some are very helpful and some are not. We stayed for breakfast and depending on what day the service was very inconsistent On the Sunday the service was excellent, on the the three other days it was poor. The rooms are very spacious, however they could be cleaner, may be a little more attention to dusting would not go amiss. The balcony rails were covered in sea gull poo! This could be a great hotel, if it paid more attention to detail.
