New Park Hotel

Great breakfast with great variety of cheeses, bread and pastry, hot dishes, fruit (watermelon, cherries, etc.), olives and greens, wonderful spa, welcome present was so lovely!

The spa was nice, but even that was incredibly deceiving because it is stated that it opens at 11 am, however according to the receptionist the steam room and sauna are not usually on until 4 pm, which they turned on for my request, but again it is a 5 star hotel…

The food was worse than mediocre, the room was very run down, so was the hotel itself, there was zero attention to detail and it did not even come close to a 5 star experience. The amenities provided were really cheap quality. The window opening restricter device (which is needed for safety) was essentially a piece cable so you had zero control over how wide you wanted to open the window the wind kept moving it. One shower in the spa was broken in a way that the water was coming out of the sides of the shower head, also the water couldn’t drain so every time I was showering I was standing in a puddle that kept filling up. The toilet cleaning brush fell apart in my hands.

Everything was absolutely perfect! This was my second stay here within a year, and the staff still remembered me, especially Mr. Efe at the reception, which made me feel incredibly welcome. ​The customer service is outstanding. Upon arrival, we asked for a room with a better view. They immediately accommodated us, upgrading our room from the 2nd floor to the 5th floor. ​The hotel went above and beyond by arranging a lovely birthday surprise for my one-year-old daughter. The housekeeping staff on the 5th floor are super professional, very friendly, and even brought a balloon for my baby girl. Additionally, Ms. Nuray from the Guest Relations department was amazing, whatever you need, she will make sure to make it happen. I will definitely choose this hotel again whenever I return to Ankara.

There was absolutely nothing to dislike. Everything exceeded our expectations

Sublime experience: beautiful hotel, excellent service, and receptionists will help you with any request. The breakfast buffet is exceptional, the spa area is really nice and has refreshing drinks besides water. I was exceptionally happy about the sublime customer relations employee: Nuray was always quick to help and solve everything to my satisfaction.

Recommendations obtained at reception are not always helpful, though, and sometimes seem a bit unprofessional (e.g., the male receptionists trying to convince you to take a 450€ shuttle to Cappadoccia instead of taking a bus for 30€ in total). I don't know what in the male "old boys network" that is, where they try to refer you to somewhere possibly to get their own benefit from it as well. I really did not like that part.
