This was a one night stay with family (4 adults, 2 children) as we were passing through on a trip. The hotel appears to be in the final stages of an update. Our floor corridor smelled (not too bad but noticeable) of fresh paint but this was even less noticeable in the rooms. The room numbers and other signs were still sitting on the floor near the locations that they were to be installed on the newly painted walls. The rooms look like they had just been updated and were very nice. The front desk person was helpful but very casually dressed with no hotel shirt or badge to indicate that they were even an employee. We use Hilton Honors program for check-in and check-out and hence this was done mostly remotely for which we received digital keys, except that we stopped at the desk to get a couple of additional key cards. Limited dining places in the general area as this is a small town but we did find a nice family diner nearby (separate review). The breakfast buffet was typical free fare of some hot and cold breakfast selections.

The first room I was checked into had an issue with the faucet in the bath tub. We were moved to another room a couple of doors away and taken care of promptly. I appreciate the friendly, professional staff! This was my second stay here at this facility. I would highly recommend it.
