"Good hotel out of town"

8.0

Arrived in Mykonos by ferry. There was nowhere to find information about transfer to notel or taxi's. The hotel did not organise. Eventually after asking a number of bus drivers who waved us away we went in search of public transport. Eventually found a bus, no information!!! The trip to Ano Mera was 1.60 Euro. Hoel nice, on busy road, good pool, regular buses to and from two beaches and Mykonos. If you plan to stay here my advise is to organise a hire car or scooter.

"Mykonos base"

6.0

There was initial disappointment about this hotel, from the roadside location to the slightly spartan rooms and broken air-conditioning, but by the end of the stay its genuine charms had managed to reveal themselves. The swimming pool/courtyard area was delightful and the helpful, humorous and gracious owner attended to any problems we encountered, including the a/c. It proved to be an excellent base for exploring the island, and the nearby town square of Ano Vera was a great place for a relaxed family meal. Transport is a bit of an issue, so renting some form of transport - a quad-bike might be enough - is recommended.

"Great little hotel"

10.0

We stayed at Anatolia hotel at the end of May 2014 and we had a great time. The hotel was clean and really well presented and the staff were friendly and really helpful. The hotel is around a 2 minute walk from Ano Mera square where there is a choice of around 6 or 7 restaurants which are lovely and reasonably priced. Great hotel and fab location.

"Lovely hotel with lovely staff"

8.0

I would most definitely recommend Hotel Anatolia to travellers who don't want to be part of the big crowds in Mykonos Town itself, particularly during peak season. The ladies who run the hotel are so helpful and friendly, so you feel you can ask them anything. The pool and pool facilities are lovely so if you fancy a day or two by the pool, it's great. The rooms are very clean, with a fridge, nice and quiet, with a good shower and wet room. There is a tv but we never even had it on, so couldn't comment on that. Breakfast is basic -cereal, bread, jam and honey, cheeses and eggs, tea, coffee and orange drink. If anything could be improved about the hotel it would be the breakfast, maybe offering fresh fruit and pure juices. The hotel is literally 5 minutes walk away from the little village of Ano Mera, where there is a square with several nice, good value restaurants. We ate there most nights, and for 2 starters, 2 mains, beer/wine and water it came to no more than €35 for both of us. Ano Mera also has a pharmacy, supermarket, mini market, two great bakeries, an ATM and a monestery which is well worth seeing. There is a bus stop there, and also by the hotel itself, going into Mykonos, Elia beach and Kalafatis Beach. The bus times aren't great though, and seem to turn up whenever, so it's well worth hiring a car, which the hotel will help with. You won't regret your stay here as long as you're happy with the peaceful location.

"This is what 'good service ' is about..."

10.0

Lovely hotel with superb staff and in a central location for exploring other beaches that you might miss if staying further west such as nearer Mykonos town. Scooter/car hire guy collected us from hotel and the beaches were an easy 10min ride away. Hotel pool and bar nice to hang around on our first few days while we found our feet. I am a fussy customer and can find absolutely nothing to quibble about in this lovely clean and tasteful hotel. Thanks to the hard-working staff.
