"Prima voor een kort verblijf"

Vriendelijk onthaal, het is een oud mooi gebouw. Een beetje een combinatie tussen grandeur en verloren glorie. Ontbijt was zeer uitgebreid en netjes ! Heel veel keuze en goede kwaliteit. De douche in onze kamer was goed! Kamer was schoon

De kamers en het gebouw zijn oud. Tapijt was schoon, maar dit is altijd lastig hygiënisch te houden. Maar het grootste probleem vond ik de gehorigheid. Je hoort echt alles .

De ligging en het ontbijt

De kamer was heel koud. De verwarming stond af . Geen warm water aan de lavabeau . Wel in de douche . Ook deed de verwarming in de badkamer het niet . We werden niet serieus genomen door de uitbater.

De prijs van de parking en (ondanks dat het heel proper is) zijn tapijten en behang dringend aan opfrissing toe.

"Pay at the Reception while check-in or lose the money."

Possibly the only good part would be the location. No idea about the bed, cleaniness, space etc as i didnt stay. Strict check-in policy no flexibility, not suitable for late arrivals. From my experience the tone of the responses of the hotel staff is consistently & unnecessarily rude, dismissive and unprofessional, which reflects poorly on there customer service.

We booked a one-night stay at Avenue Hotel by F-Hotels while traveling with family, including a 2-year-old child. After a full day of driving, we were on our way & at 21:30, only to be denied check-in on call. Beaware this property has very strict check-in window (till 19:00) and does not offer any late or self check-in options. This is not what most people expect when booking a hotel and not an AirBnB. We were in contact with the hotel, but because we were still about 50 minutes away when they called, they refused to wait or offer any alternative (no lockbox, no instructions, no assistance). As a result, we were left to find accommodation elsewhere late at night with a young child. What’s especially disappointing is that during the phone call that same evening, the manager told us not to worry about the payment and that we would “surely get a refund via Booking.com. However, we later learned that any refund depended on the hotel’s approval, which was ultimately refused by the Hotel. Additionally, the hotel justifies its strict policy by describing itself as “small,” yet also states in their message to me that it has around 100 rooms and can not contact all guests. This inconsistency only adds to the confusion. In today’s travel environment, contactless or self check-in is a very common and expected option, especially for late arrivals. The complete absence of any such system here, combined with zero flexibility, creates a very poor guest experience. Despite the circumstances, no partial refund or goodwill gesture was offered. The full amount was charged for a stay we were never able to use. While the policy may be stated, the lack of flexibility or support makes this place unsuitable for anyone who might arrive later than planned. Recommendation: Only book this property if you are absolutely certain you can arrive before 19:00. Otherwise, choose a hotel with a 24-hour reception or a proper late check-in/self check-in system.
