I really like the facilities, so clean. Plenty of space, good bathroom and when I arrived I was greeted with a friendly welcome. From that point on, I knew I made the right choice. Comfy bed, and restaurants are very close

The picture above looks clean and inviting, our room had a smell that didn’t go away even when we left the door open. It had an old and unclean feel. The table had dried on food and was sticky. I had to scrub to make it clean. I wouldn’t have tried to ‘cook’ on the makeshift hot plates. Holes in the wall in the bathroom where old towel rack was. Lock on bathroom door missing with a hole. Mould in the bathroom and in the shower. No cover over the massive sky light so we were woken up very early by the sun. The WiFi was so weak you couldn’t use it to plan the next part of the journey

Facility was of a lower standard than I was expecting

NOTHING but because our original booking changed at the last minute this was the only place available for our numbers. It is situated not far from the most unsafe street in Manukau South Auckland, a street notoriously know. The sliding door is only a normal house door key and very easy to yank on and break in, unsafe for any travellers. Broken down cars in the carpark, rude staff, had the nerve to tell me not to tell him to hurry up! He had just offended me by racially profiling me and treating me like a criminal by saying we have to check the rooms before you leave to make sure nothing is stolen and yep she checked the tvs, remotes etc were all there. I laughed it was ridiculous. Black mould and dirt in shower so we had to go and buy wet wipes and spray n wipe and clean ourselves. The towels were ridiculously thin we used them as floor mats and purchased new ones. The toilet is one door off the kitchen, unsure if that meets health and safety standards at all. The dirt and mould on the bathroom window was disgusting.

The cleaning staff were friendly and helpful.
