Bella Vista Motel Napier

We decided to stay here as there wasn’t much available for a reasonable price in Napier. Unit was clean and tidy however not really a lot of room to move around/room also quite dark. Recommended to if you are only after a bed for the night otherwise stay somewhere else.

Very central Motel. Clean and roomy.

It is close to everything. I walked everywhere including the beach and restaurants.

We've stayed here a few times now & always are greeted like long time friends. Very handy to town & a comfortable motel to stay in without handy parking outside your door too.

It was ok the tap in the bathroom was a bit hard to turn on and off.

Friendly reception, eco-friendly (body wash and shampoo were in refillable dispensers and milk in a small refillable bottle). Very comfortable and clean. Great shower. Walking distance to the beach, great restaurants and CBD. Guests are mainly people on business.

We stayed here for two nights in May 2020. The motel is located very close to the centre of Napier, just a block or two from the shopping area. Across the road are Noel Leeming and The Warehouse. It is easy to find on one of the main roads. We stayed in a ground-floor unit. There was a little bit of noise at night from other motel guests parking their cars, but it wasn't too disturbing. The unit itself (bed in the lounge plus separate bedroom with two single beds) was large with a kitchenette for cooking and a dining table. The main bed was very comfortable. I slept very well. We will certainly consider staying here again when we return to Napier.

A friendly reception and given a choice of units was a good start. Whilst the unit was small and the furniture well used, it was clean, tidy and had everything you needed. (The name "Bella Vista" was a bit of a stretch, affording views of Noel Leeming and the RSA from the front, though maybe upstairs back units had a view of the sea. But you wouldn't mark it down for that, it was a pleasant and comfortable stay)

We tried to book for Art Deco 2022. Wanted 3 nights but told minimum of 4 nights only. So decided that we would do 4 nights Weds to Saturday....only to be told that their 4 nights starts Thursday to Sunday.....no flexibility at all. Needed those dates so we could go to work Monday....don't like being dictated too....so no booking made.
