Been coming here for years, but hadn't been for a while, so I was glad to see the facilities and rooms are still what they used to be. The free airport transfers at any time are of course a major attraction.

I was sent contact details for a driver, for the purposes of an airport transfer, and told to Whatsapp him after picking up my luggage. Well, he never answered, and I discovered he was on leave. When I arrived, the ladies who checked me in were not friendly at all, and although I arranged with them to have the driver take me to the airport at 5am, no mention of a packed breakfast or breakfast of any kind was made. Previously, I have been given packed breakfasts here.

Breakfast and dinner were both great, as expected. I do enjoy the gardens, landscaping and ourdoor decorations. Staff were welcoming and very friendly. We have been staying at Sunrock for many years when passing through Jo'burg, and each time the guest house seems better developed with little improvements here and there. We have often recommended Sunrock to friends who need accommodation in Jo'burg. Thank you Ina and Arnold!

There was no towel rail in the room I occupied.

I liked the room very much, my buffet suppe was super good, did not eat in your restaurant, judging from what i saw i think the food will be super good. Overall a very good experience. Will definately book there again when i come back from working abroad.

There was nothing i did not like, my stay was to short.

Loved the beautiful setting of the gardens, bar and dining area. Food was excellent. Great location if needing to be near the airport. Bed was very comfortable. Great place to stay for a few nights near the airport!

They had space heaters, but wish they had an actual heating unit.

We only spent the night here in our transfer to Victoria Falls. The property itself has a lot of potential and is set in a beautiful natural environment. However, some of the facilities could benefit from a little more maintenance and attention to detail. The staff was friendly, welcoming and always willing to help.

Quite noisy during the night.

Sunrock is een geweldig hotel, met heel vriendelijk personeel. De shuttle service, van en naar de luchthaven, was top. De kamer was erg leuk en warm ingericht. De bedden waren prima. Het ontbijt was heel goed. Er is in het hele complex aandacht voor een leuke aankleding, iets wat ik heel erg waardeer. Het avondeten was van goede kwaliteit maar niet helemaal onze smaak. We hebben twee keer verbleven bij Sunrock en raden het iedereen aan. Het is een prima overnachting bij aankomst en vertrek op de luchthaven van Johannesburg.

Alles was prima. Niets viel tegen.

Location 10 minutes from airport. Transport included. Nice and safe inside. Heated pool. Good dinner.
