Kurhotel Bad Suderode

Das Hotel hat eine schöne Lage direkt am Kurpark und ist der ideale Ausgangspunkt sowohl für lokale Wanderungen als auch Besichtigungen in Quedlinburg oder Halberstadt. Ich hatte ein sehr schönes Zimmer mit großem Balkon, das blitzblank sauber war. Obwohl das Zimmer unmittelbar an der Rezepltion lag, war es absolut ruhig. Alle Mitarbeiter waren sehr zuvorkommend und hilfreich und das Essen (sowohl Frühstück als auch Abendessen) war richtig gut. Obwohl der Gästeparkplatz recht kein ist, habe ich dort jeden Abend noch einen Platz für meinen Wagen gefunden. Die einzge Kleinigkeit, die mir nicht so gut gefallen hat, war das Ambiente des Restaurants, aber das ist ja Geschmackssache.

Ruhig gelegen, war es genau richtig nach den von uns durchgeführten Besichtigungstouren. Angenehme Atmosphäre, freundliche und zuvor- kommendes Personal. Wir werden bestimmt mal wieder einen Kurzurlaub dort planen um Quedlinburg zu besuchen, das uns bestens gefallen hat! Wir hatten hervorragendes Wetter - ein Glücksfall!

fred og ro og en skøn blanding pga det lidt specielle i at det er en kombi af luksus alderdomshjem og hotel. For en som mig, som elsker at snakke med tyskere der har levet i tyskland i 30,erne og frem var det helt unikt at der stadig findes nulevende som er så friske at de kan fortælle om det. De har det godt der og værelset var perfekt til os tre som var afsted.

4 Sterne sind eindeutig zu viel. Das Haus ist ein 3-Sterne-Hotel. Für jemanden, der keine größeren Ansprüche an ein Hotel stellt, ist es ein akzeptables Hotel. Auch das Essen könnte besser sein. Als Rumpsteak gibt es eine ausgelatschte Schuhsohle.

Das Hotel ist sauber, einfach eingerichtet, nicht ganz unser Geschmack aber okay. Das Frühstück ist in Ordnung, nichts besonderes, das Brot war leider total alt, die Varianten bei Marmelade, Käse und Wurst übersichtlich und von keiner hohen Qualität. Das Abendessen war okay, keine positiven oder negativen Überraschungen. Der Saunabereich ist klein aber gepflegt. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich.

This hotel is located on the edge of the forest and we were awakened every morning by the delightful sound of songbirds. The room had a balcony which was a nice place to relax.. The restaurant is good and the breakfast buffet offered an assortment of cheeses, meats and breads. Cereal and fruit were also available There are several other restaurants in town but not much else.. I didn't like the fact that the hotel is quite far from major attractions in The Harz Mountains;.so we did a lot of driving.

4* rating is a joke, but a lovely hotel. No real amenities but great location, excellent staff service and fantastic breakfast. The room was large enough and clean, but only guest house standard. Pillows needed stuffing with towels they were so bad and footboard on bed means anyone over 6' needs to sleep diagonally. The advertised pool and sauna were actually in the public baths across the road for which you had to pay - no special reduction for guests of this hotel. But even now I know all this I would still rebook this charming, if a bit pricey, hotel.
