Edgerton Hotel

I've stayed here a couple of times now for work and seeing friends & family. It's good value for money, quiet, and conveniently located. Breakfast is good too.

Just need to make sure there is enough toilet roll in the room on arrival (my most recent visit). Honestly, this was such a small thing though.

Nice, clean hotel with a traditional decoration. Bathrooms were modern. Nice location. Friendly staff.

The fact that the staff told me the heater couldn't be turned on in my room, it being on the top floor made it colder therefore my stay was very uncomfortable

Absolutely fantastic! The hotel was exceptional! The staff were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable and the room and facilities were top class and excellent value for money, will definitely be staying again in the near future, you can't go wrong. Not spacious single room but comfortable rooms with good amenities such as TV, fridge, tea/coffee facilities, and power showers. Beautiful décor.

Not impressed with breakfast

A neighbourhood stroll showed the affluence of some of Huddersfield's early elite. The efforts being made to refurbish the hotel

Towels showing makeup stains leading to a suspicion that they hadn't been changed for our arrival. The smell of cigarette smoke in the bathroom. Some breakfast items were cold eg the eggs. Scarily tight access to main car park particularly if your rental car has an eye-watering excess.
