Tidy clean hotel, convivial staff and bar. Meals ok as well.

Out of town, public transport limitations although only there for the weekend. Really need a rental car .

It was easily accessible with convenient parking.

Check in was unnecessarily long and the duty manager didn’t know if the room was clean, handed us a key and were told to let him know if the room needed attention. They allowed a trailer of racing dogs to be parked a few meters from our room, they started barking and crying around 5am, the executive manager of the hotel response was ‘ we cannot control outside noises’ even though the dog trailer has been allowed to park/ stay on hotel property. Very poor and inconsiderate. We also arranged for a late checkout - hotel cleaners let themselves into our room around 9:30hrs.
