The noise from other guests tv? Humming noise from Heatpump’s/pool filters? Off smell in room? Either cleaning products or cigarette smoke drifting inside from balcony

I booked with Booking.com and somehow the wrong dates were booked. With in 15 minutes I phoned to change the dates but was told that they were unable to do this, I would need cancel and then rebook. They did however want to charge me $91 just to change the date due booking through booking.com. Absolutely disgusting. It was only booked for 15 minutes and a simple date change was all that was needed. You’ve overcomplicated a very simple issue

We were asleep in our room, and at ~11pm the door was unlocked, curtains swung open and a man walked into our room and questioned if anyone was there. Deeply concerning for the obvious reason, but about to be off on a hunting trip, we both had Firearms in the room, and for someone to be in possession of our room key, and use it to enter the room is appalling. Mentioning it to reception staff in the morning, she had a slight giggle and said yup that was our mistake, we booked you into the wrong room, then gave them a key when they checked in. To her it seemed of little consequence, and certainly made no effort to apologise. An extremely black mark on an otherwise half descent establishment.

Dinner was terrific - and fabulous staff. Lady staff member in the bar for dinner was great, friendly to everyone and always on hand when needed. She never stopped moving around checking on diners - wish I had caught her name. Well done to her.
