Although I had booked a double room, I was given a single room with a single bed. When I questioned it, they told me, “You are alone anyway, you only paid for one person.” However, it is my personal choice to book a double room even if I am traveling solo. I could have chosen a suite or a deluxe room as well. If I paid for a double room, I expect to be given what I booked. This treatment was highly disrespectful — being placed alone in a cramped room with a single bed at the far end of the corridor, against my reservation. If the hotel wants to offer single rooms, they should clearly mention that in the listing (e.g., “Single bed for solo travelers”). Let people choose what they want to book accordingly. After I expressed my complaint, Mr. Furkan at the reception kindly resolved the issue and moved me to the correct double room that I had originally booked. I appreciate his help. Still, I had never experienced such a situation before. I advise solo travelers to be careful about this — no one has the right to put you in a single room after you paid for a double one. Cleanliness was also below expectations. The furniture and especially the lamps near the bed were very dusty.

Het personeel was echt heel aardig en behulpzaam. Fijne locatie. Gratis parkeren in de buurt was mogelijk.

Hygiëne was oké. Lampjes met stof en schimmelplekjes. Bovenste kamer met hele oude airco. Duurde even voordat hij op temperatuur was. Kamer lag naast het schoonmaakhok waar ‘s morgens om 07.30 se schoonmakers druk pratend verzamelde of binnenkwamen. 1 klein laken als deken.
