Spicers Balfour Brisbane

We needed to eat in the courtyard as I am disabled. The breakfast menu was adequate. The hot breakfast was well served. The savoury mince was so salty it was almost inedible

Each time we came to breakfast my husband had to climb the stairs to find someone to serve us. Service was inconsistent. Juice was not served automatically, the fruit took a long time to come. I would say that the breakfast was not generous. not the portions but ..toast on the side with marmalade and butter to enjoy with coffee would have been welcome. The staff tended to ignore us sitting in the courtyard

Great location, beautifully restored old Queenslander. Quiet comfortable rooms with all modern facilities and good parking. Close to shops and cafes as well as Howard Smith ferry stop.

Breakfast was good, the location was surprisingly excellent and better than expected.

The hotel was beautiful & I loved staying in a more residential part of town but with easy access to everything - especially the 24hr coffee shop down the road ! The staff were also incredibly helpful. My rental car battery went flat & I was going to miss my flight. The lady on the front desk did everything she could to help me out. Very much appreciated.

Great for exploring the New Farm precinct. So cosy and welcoming
