Sunset Village Beach Resort

If you want to have a good time with family / Friends or even be yourself alone, this is an excellent place with tranquility, beach, great service and serenity. I do not like the noisy Pattaya, and this place is just the right holiday spot. Walk on the beach and you reach many Cafe and restaurants

Very peaceful and quiet.Air conditioning didn't work, but staff fixed it very quickly. Car park to room was a little far, but staff helped with the luggage. Although on the beach, we couldn't swim because too many sharp rocks. Very romantic with a beautiful view of the sunset from your cabin.

We spent two nights at Sunshine Village as part of our vacation. Close to Pattaya but just far enough away to be peaceful and quiet. We enjoyed dinner and drinks by the water, both are good value. Breakfast has a decent selection. You can drive or take one of four daily shuttles to Pattaya (100 baht per person). We stayed in a beach premium room (cabin), it was clean and cosy.

Beautiful and very quiet. Food overpriced and mine was served cold. Staff excellent. Resort overall very good.

Stayed in a premium on the beach villa, which was beautiful. The only negative is the distance to Pattaya, however the resort runs a shuttle that costs 100thb 3 times daily

Nice huts on the beach, rooms were good, beds a little hard but ok. Nice outside showers for each hut . Breakfast buffet was good, choices of Thai and English foods, lots of fresh fruits. Swimming in the ocean was nice, water was very warm. Out of town but they will take you to town & return pick up about 4 times a day. Very quiet and relaxing.

Choices are fairly limited in Thailand to find something decent by the beach which accepts our pet dog and happy to say Sunset Village is one of them. Having said there are some restrictions such as no pets in the pool or restaurant areas, which is the way it should be. This a solid 3 star resort with an overall rustic appearance with a nice safe beach. The menu has an extensive choice of western and thai food and I must say the thai food quality was excellent overall. This resort is well out of the way between Pattaya and Bang Saray with no local markets or shops close by so you can either can get the resort shuttle into town or ask reception to call you a taxi. The only complaint is there is no in house spa or massage service so if you want one reception will call a masseuse from outside for 1000 THB - no thanks. Overall well priced and a nice stay especially as a dog owner and will return again sometime in the future.

Just a one night getaway from the big city. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Quiet, sweet, cute little resort. Nice cottages give you a little privacy. Relatively clean beach (for the Gulf of Thailand), very nice breakfast spread. And best f all it's just a short drive past the insanity of Jomtien and Pattaya. Definitely recommend.

Overall the stay was not bad. But careful about which bungalow you get. Some are stated as beach bungalow but actually not on the beach. Ours was near the pool which was very noisy on Sunday as a company had a party there so the loud music didn't stop until around 22:45. A bit annoying when you plan to come with family and hope for a quiet time on the beach....

A good place to stay to escape city life for a night or 2 max as very remote & the beach is ok but would recommend going to koh Samet for tourists wanting to see nice Thai beaches etc.. The beach and garden bungalows were lovely & the gardens very well looked after. Food ok.
